Bebek Bengil
Bebek Bengil, one of the most notable restaurants in Ubud, has branched out to the shores of Nusa Dua with its slightly upscale concept, yet still retains its original appeal in serving its title crispy fried duck. The restaurant forms part of the dining venues within The Bay Bali beachfront dining complex, and shares the gorgeous seaside garden setting and ocean views. There are different seating options, from a main dining hall filled with solid wood tables and Balinese art, and roofed cabanas laid out in the expansive garden for a more private atmosphere. While the signature crispy duck is the must-try, served with steamed rice and Balinese vegetables, the menu also presents a range of other local Balinese, Indonesian and some optional Western favourites. The offerings are similar to its Ubud counterpart, including the famous Balinese satay platter of chicken, seafood and duck.
