warung-alila-uluwatuThe Warung at the Alila Villas Uluwatu features a menu that is based on authentic recipes from around Bali and the rest of the Indonesian archipelago. Patrons at The Warung are encouraged to choose ala carte, or allow the chef to compose a special rijsttafel by selecting favorite items from the menu. The Warung’s menu includes various traditional Balinese salads, satay selections that are all served with peanut sauce, vegetable salad and traditional lontong rice cakes. Selections of soups include the favourite oxtail soup of sop buntut, and the menu also features vegetarian selections that emphasize on traditional preparations of fresh tropical ingredients. The mains include selections of seafood, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, and pork. Also handy is a list of dishes that correspond to each of their island origins, promising a culinary journey of tastes.
