Canggu is one of Bali’s surfer paradises, and there’s many cafes catering to the wave-riding crowd all over this coastal village area. Hungry Bird Café is one of them, a small little spot tucked away on one of the side streets, and offers tasty homemade dishes and comfort food. Step in and be treated to stacks of pancakes, wholesome sandwiches, and good old ‘nasi goreng’ fried rice. Don’t forget the coffee; the fresh brews are from beans sourced Indonesia-wide. Choose from Toraja and Suamtra coffee, or Java, Bali and Fores. Healthy oat meals are a good treat, with a choice of coconut or soy milk and fresh seasonal fruits.
