Eight Degrees South is one of the main restaurants at the Conrad Bali Resort, which offers a beachside dining experience with al-fresco settings and ocean views. The setup is stylish and elegant, with pavilions right on the shore, but the seaside atmosphere is casual and laidback. Serving lunch and dinner, Eight Degrees South presents healthy yet creative dishes, using fresh organic, locally-sourced meats, seafood, vegetables and spices. The menu features a must-try ‘Earth & Sea’ section comprising pan-roasted salmon with cauliflower puree, shimeji mushrooms, carrot and lemon garlic dressing, as well as a braised oxtail with Balinese spices, ‘sambal matah potato’, seasonal local veggies and ‘beef balado’ ragout style for only IDR 183,000. There’s also a wide range of pizzas and pastas, and heavenly desserts such as the mangosteen chamomile panna cotta with frangipani mint jelly and coconut jack fruit ice cream.
